Groen TBD-20 kettles transfer heat through the entire jacketed area, twice the heat transfer surface area of the same size stock pot. Compared to an extremely inefficient stock pot which only transfers heat on the bottom, Groen gas heated kettles are 58-65% efficient, which means faster heat-up and cook times.
