The young rooster on the table is 30 days old and weighs almost 2 pounds. 31.5 ounces to be exact or on a metric system he is 893 grams. I have been working with this breed for 10 years.
Eggs will be less than 36 hours old at time of shipping.
The Bresse chicken is described as "the queen of poultry,
the poultry of kings". And has the reputation of being the best quality table chicken in the world.
Poulet de Bresse was renamed to American Bresse in America and may be produced only from white chickens.
My hens lay 5 to 6 eggs per week per hen. They are cold hardy and great at free range and finding food. However, I always have a great quality feed available at all times.
American Bresse are friendly and an intelligent breed with beautiful white color.  Bresse stand upright as if they command their presence with head held up high.
Fertility in my eggs is very good and I hatch on a regular schedule. I can't guarantee hatch rates because of shipping and handling by the post office after it leaves my control.
I package my eggs well and will send extras. I do not wash the eggs because it destroys the protective barrier on the eggs. The hens puts a protective barrier on the egg to keep bacteria out of the eggs.
