    Description

1984 Democratic National Convention Delegate Packet Walter Mondale, Gary Hart, Feinstein, and Pelosi. You are looking at a 2lb. 10oz. collection of history from the 1984 Democratic National Convention held in San Francisco, California.  This group contains 9 books, 2 tabloid inserts and the folder they all originally came in.  The main picture is of the welcome book which is a softbound edition of 89 pages and feels as if it has never been fully opened. The next 6 books have paper covers are bound with glue and measure 91/4" X 11". The first is The Handbook Of The 1984 Democratic National Convention. It is 24 pages and outlines Convention History, the 1984 Convention Agenda, Delegate Seating guide, Dates of 1984 Primaries and Caucuses, Delegate Allocation, Poll of States, Tally Sheets,
(unused), and a map of delegation hotels.  Next is Temporary Roll Of The Delegates and Alternates. 81 pages listing DNC Officers, Committee members, Delegates and Alternates. The next is Report of the Platform Committee, 67 pages, outlining the 1984 Platform including Minority reports and Appendix. Next is The Charter and By-Laws, 23 pages. followed by The Report of the Rules Committee at 19 pages and the Final Call at 36 pages. The Democratic Convention Telephone Numbers, 24 pages, is also included. Convention '84 Host Committee News is 11"X14" Tri Fold outlining the greatness of San Francisco and features a photo of Roz Wyman, San Francisco Mayor Dianne Feinstein and local activist and Host Committee Chair Nancy Pelosi. Also included is the Asian Pacific Caucus
    Convention Special
a 31 page tabloid introducing delegates to the Asian Pacific Caucus, its members, programs and issues.  As stated I don't think any of these have been fully opened and read but just glanced at. They are not new but not used either so you can ask me any questions you may have about condition.  I own this collection because my father was a Gary Hart Delegate to this convention.
