    Description

    You are bidding on a set of five Hollywood Screen Stars collector cards issued as part of the 1928 Blatz Gum collection. Each card measures 3.5 by 5.5 inches and is printed on thin paper. The front contains a black-and-white photo of each star with a facsimile signature. The back contains the name of the star and studio, advertising information for Blatz gum and a promotional offer for all 20 cards in the set and an album to store the collection. The five cards in this auction feature William Haines, Dorothy Mackaill, Phyllis Haver, Vera Reynolds and Gwen Lee
    . The cards are in good to very good condition, with moderate wear, including light creasing and a few nicks on edges and corners. Two cards have small pencil check marks on the reverse side.
