www.deedeesduckeggs.comYou will receive 12 HIGH QUALITY, PREMIUM ORGANIC, Free-Range Pasture Raised Duck eggs fresh to your table.
Free-range, pastured ducks lay eggs that have higher levels of vitamins, minerals, and omega 3 fatty acids, and are more flavorful. Our ducks' egg yolks are a rich, orange-yellow color which indicates a higher nutrient density and happy, healthy ducks.
Our ducks get to socialize, roam and forage all day, every day until dusk. They eat insects and other critters, wild seeds and weeds, and fresh pasture grass--which are the natural diet of ducks. This wild-based diet, along with fermented (probiotic) non-GMO organic grains, and daily exercise keeps our ducks in top health and producing the highest quality eggs possible.
Duck eggs are far superior to chicken eggs in nutrition and have a slightly richer flavor and a creamier, smoother consistency.
They are about twice the size of chicken eggs and have more omega-3's which are thought to improve brain health, skin, and more.
Unlike chicken eggs, duck eggs have a high alkaline content and are believed to be an anti-cancer food.
Because duck eggs have more protein content they will provide more energy than chicken eggs.
They contain more vitamins and minerals than chicken eggs and have a thicker shell so they will stay fresh longer (up to six weeks refrigerated).
Duck eggs are excellent for baking (especially gluten free baking). They have more albumen making breads, cakes and pastries rise higher with a fluffier texture and a richer taste.
Most people who have allergies to chicken eggs can eat duck eggs without reactions.
