White Phoenix Chicken Hatching Eggs for incubating.
We always ship extra eggs if they are available on shipping day… depending on how the ladies are laying.

The eggs you receive will come from our chickens shown in the photos. They are beautiful standard LF sized chickens (
not
bantams) with gorgeous long tail and saddle feathers. They are perfect for show, exhibition and will make a great addition to any flock.

Our line of White Phoenix occurred as an anomaly 2 years ago while hatching our Black Breasted Red Phoenix eggs.  We started having yellow/white chicks hatching from the BBR eggs.  We knew there was no chance of another rooster breeding our hens.  So, we kept the yellow/white chicks to see how they grew out.  The photos in the listing are of these chickens now that they are almost 2 years old.
We have hatched many of the eggs that our White Phoenix laid this spring.  We have had a very good hatch rate and all .. 100% .. of the chicks have been yellow/white.  These chicks are shown in the photo in the listing.
After researching and speaking to other
Phoenix
experts, we have determined that our
Phoenix
chickens are displaying a recessive white gene.  After close inspection of our BBR chickens (3rd generation hatched on our farm) ... one of the hens has one white feather in each wing.  This hen is the beginning of this line of White Phoenix.
These ultra rare White Phoenix chickens come from the anomaly of the recessive white gene appearing in our birds and continuing in their offspring.  Here is your opportunity to add a new line of White Phoenix to your collection.
The
Phoenix
chickens lay a medium sized light tan egg and are also great broody setters and will readily hatch and raise their own offspring. Our
Phoenix
hens hatch several clutches of eggs for us every spring and summer.  They give us a much better success rate with our hatches than mechanical incubators.  Natural is always better!
Our roosters are active and friendly.  They have beautiful long tail feathers.  Their saddle, cape, and body feathers would be great for fly tying for fly fishing lures. Hens have a pheasant like body type.

inspected, tested, and NPIP certified.  The eggs you receive will come from our Phoenix chickens shown in the photos.
Like all other breeders and sellers, we cannot guarantee a specific hatch rate on our shipped eggs due to factors and circumstances outside of our control such as handling during shipping and in the incubation hatching environment provided.

We securely package our eggs in
Professional Egg Shipping Foam and use Foil in case of accidental x-ray
to protect them during shipping. If you have broken eggs, please let us know within 24 hours of delivery and we will refund that portion of your order.  Photo of broken eggs will be required.

HELD for PICK UP
at your local post office, please notify us with your phone number and contact person in the note area when you pay for the eggs.
Eggs will be shipped on
Mondays and Tuesdays by USPS Priority Mail
.  They usually arrive 2 to 3 days after we drop them off at the post office. Please give us a few days to gather the freshest eggs for you. We do send extra eggs when they are available on ship days.

No refunds are given for any eggs that fail to develop or hatch. We cannot be responsible for postal damage or handling once we leave the package at the post office.  You are welcome to come to the farm to pick your eggs up in person.
We do not offer refunds (except for eggs broken during shipping), do not accept returns or ship free replacement eggs. If you cannot accept the risk associated with shipped eggs, PLEASE consider buying live chicks from a hatchery. Please be sure you agree to these terms before bidding.
