1 Dozen BBS Maran Hatching Eggs *Dark Egg Layers*

You will receive one dozen of our BBS Maran chicken hatching eggs. BBS stands for Blue Black Splash which will be the possible colored chicks that can hatch from these eggs. Maran chickens are good layers of large dark brown eggs as well as spectacular looking birds to have in your flock. Our Marans are true french Marans our stock comes directly from imported bloodlines. This is a multipurpose breed, hens lay a good amount of very marketable dark colored eggs and cockerels are fast growing and make excellent meat birds.
We collect our eggs everyday here at V&R Homestead and will send you the freshest eggs we have.
We will do our best to package your eggs to ensure they will arrive to you safely. We suggest letting your hatching eggs set pointy end down for 24 hours without turning before putting them in the incubator or under a broody hen.
Please note: These eggs are the same eggs we hatch here at the farm however buying hatching eggs in the mail is a risk, we have no control over what happens to these eggs after we leave them at the post office. We do not guarantee hatch rates on hatching eggs shipped in the mail. If you are not willing to accept that risk please do not buy our hatching eggs. Feedback should be left after your eggs arrive, not after hatch day.
